Arizona Health Zone exists to provide moms and families across Arizona resources to become more active and healthy. Previously known as Arizona Nutrition Network, AZ Health Zone was recently rebranded and needed to update the website to reflect their new look. Along with refreshing the overall look and feel, we were also tasked with rethinking the IA of the site.
Our project team collaborated closely with the client, each other, and an outside development team to deliver on all business and user needs.

This project has been my favorite to work on so far. What made it more successful was the collaboration across our multi-disciplinary team and the open communication with our client. They trusted our process and we leaned on them for their deep knowledge of the target audience and end-user. It was a shining example of what a true client partnership looks like.
Looking back, this would have been an ideal opportunity to conduct our own user research and usability testing, but we did not have the capabilities at the time. Luckily, our client has extensive knowledge of their user base that informed our IA and design decisions. The updated site has received much praise and positive feedback.
